Warehouse Supervisor - Supervises and coordinates all activities of workers concerned with receiving, storing and shipping materials. Create a work environment that is positive for co-workers as well as beneficial to Company and all parties concerned.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
Include, but not limited to:
· Monitor space layout to ensure efficient space utilization.
· Ensure the condition of the warehouse and product to maintain an “inspection ready” facility at all times
· Direct the operations of staff to ensure achievement of daily objectives and standards.
· Follow corporate procedure when recommending promotions, wage increases and all disciplinary action.
· Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of the facility.
· Promote good customer service relations through timely and professional resolution of service issues.
· Maintain an accurate inventory. Work with cycle counters to maintain the integrity of the inventory, including any special requirements customers may have.
· Manage all warehouse employees’ to ensure company guidelines are followed.
· Manage outbound shipments to ensure a timely and accurate delivery to our customers.
· Planning the work schedules of both the shipping and the receiving departments. ¨
· To see that all inbound freight is properly documented and delivered in a way that conforms to company standards.
· To insure that all product has proper documentation before departure
· Assure Inventory accuracy by keeping warehouse organized, clean and all records up-to- date and accurate.
Qualifications:
· BA/BS Degree (preferred)
· 3+ years Warehouse Supervision experience
· Valid Driver’s License is required
· Strong track record maintaining a safe work environment
· Microsoft Word and Excel proficiency required
· Must have above average communication skills
· Ability to work flexible shifts.
· 2+ years’ experience with Warehouse Management Systems and hand held scanners
· Minimum 2 years experience working with 3rd party quality control companies
