Role of the Supervisor (1st Year Participants)
Managers and supervisors are the foundation of a successful drug-free workplace
program. Upon completion of the initial course, attendees will

Establishing a routine mechanism to ensure that all new hires receive the hard
copy of the policy and educational information, as well as signing and turning
in an acknowledgment of receipt form.

Administering the employee education program and informing/educating employees
about the policy, programs, issues and available resources.

Arranging to obtain and maintain education sessions rosters.

Maintaining a process that ensures all new hires receive the policy, attend
education sessions and sign and turn in acknowledgment of receipt of policy.

family members have a substance problem.
