At Sheakley, we see workplace safety as an integral part of an effective Workers' Compensation program.  While most Third Party Administrators (TPA) for Ohio Workers' Compensation utilize an outside vendor for safety program assistance, Sheakley has a staff of safety experts available to our clients. In addition to OSHA and DOT consultation and compliance training, the Sheakley Safety Team works with your company to guide you through the application and implementation process for the Ohio Bureau of Workers’ Compensation (BWC) premium discount programs.

 

Available Services

 

The BWC's DFWP program is for state funded employers who are interested in developing a substance free workplace.

 PDP+ is designed for employers not enrolled in a group rating program due to a penalty rated status. It is intended to benefit employers making sincere efforts to control costs through comprehensive safety programs.

Sheakley has developed an exciting new program to assist employers with the implementation of the 10-Step Business Plan.

 

This hands-on course provides the knowledge and skills necessary to prevent, recognize, and provide basic care for injuries and sudden illness until advanced medical personnel arrive.

 

Properly applied first aid can save lives, reduce recovery time, and often means the difference between temporary and lifelong disability for the victim.

 

This brief monthly e-newsletter is sent to employers for distribution to employees for review.
